Peter Brandon, the president of The South Downs Society and author of ‘The South Downs’ and many other titles, has written the Foreword.
Dr Brandon wants “the Companion to show you where to walk, what to see and how to learn about the Downs” and adds, “The Downs have not hitherto produced a book quite like this one”
