Arundel

Arundel is the ancestral home of the Dukes of Norfolk and the family still occupy their private quarters in Arundel Castle.

His Grace is the premier duke in the country and holds the title 'Earl Marshall of England'

The town itself is delightful - and consequently extremely popular in the summer months.
It's a favourite place to stay for those taking part in the Annual South Downs Way Walk. There's lots of accommodation ranging from a Youth Hostel to some fine hotels - with lots of guest houses and B&B's in between. But you have to book early !
