Queen Elizabeth Country Park

The Queen Elizabeth Country Park is the largest in Hampshire with 600 hectares of forest and downland.

38 species of butterfly have been seen in the park together with 12 species of wild orchid. There are over 20 miles of trail to explore for walkers, cyclists & horseriders with lots of picnic sites.

The splendid visitor centre is open from 10 am to 5:30 pm every day (4:30 pm in winter) and sells its own venison and organic lamb as well as all the usual tourist things.

The Coach House Cafe is a favourite watering hole for those on the Annual South Downs Way Walk - with their bacon baguettes being voted some of the best on the trail.
