The Milburys is one of the few pubs actually ON the trail; (there are several more just a short distance off-trail) and it makes a very popular lunch stop on the Winchester to Eastbourne walk, where it is about 2/3 of the way along the first day. Unfortunately going the other way it's not quite far enough into the last day to get too settled ....
Neverthelss you must call in whichever way you are travelling - if only to drop an ice cube down the extraordinary well inside the pub.
