How does it work each day

Coach transport is provided each day throughout the event with four pick-up points to choose from. These are:-

Chichester Northgate car park OR Arundel Railway Station OR Worthing - Lyons Farm (retail complex) OR Shoreham by Sea  - Holmbush (retail complex). Parking at Chichester & Arundel is 'pay & display' - at Worthing and Shoreham it is currently free by courtesy of the retail centre managers.

You will be asked to indicate on the booking form which is most convenient for you and this will then be your meeting point for each of the nine days

Everyone taking part in the event will be given a numbered coach pass for his or her selected joining point. These passes will be checked each morning and have the added attraction of being exchangeable for a free drink at the end-of-walk party !

Each coach will have Footprints 'red shirt' escorts on board and they'll be handing out lots of information every morning.

Each morning coaches will leave promptly at the advertised time – which can be as early as 8am.

At the end of the day, the four or five return coaches will leave as they fill, at different times throughout the afternoon. Every coach will return to all the pick-up points, unless clearly shown otherwise.

This allows everyone to walk at their own pace throughout the day - knowing there will be a coach leaving to take them 'home' with in a short time of finishing. (The earliest returning coach is often around 2pm and the last about 4:30/5pm)
