It's an organised annual walk along the full length
of the South Downs Way National Trail in southern England.
It takes place over nine consecutive days from 6th - 14th June 2008
covering a comfortable average of about 12 miles each day.
Each year anything from 150 to 250 people take part and most of
those are 'first-timers'. Over half are ladies.
The event is organised by Footprints of Sussex on behalf of
West Sussex County Council
